Police in the North investigating the murder of Tommy Crossan are appealing for information.
The 43 year-old was shot in west Belfast yesterday, and a 26 year old has been arrested.
It's understood Crossan was a senior figure in the Continuity IRA but was expelled years ago.
Officers say they are trying establish a motive for the shooting.
