Scottish boffins have found out what constitutes good gossip.
According to psychology researchers we gossip most about familiar people and the more interesting and unpredictable the story, the more likely we are to gossip about it.
Researchers from Glasgow and West Scotland found the most tasty gossip involved celebrities including the Beckhams and the Obamas and involved scenarios like pregnancy and having arguments in public.
