A County Dublin couple are to be repaid a sum of €61,000 they were overcharged by Permament TSB, following a court action.
Liam Fitzgerald and Angela Wallace were wrongly taken off a tracker mortgage rate.
However, they took a legal action against the lender, after rejecting a €6,000 compensation sum offered by PTSB.
The bank is welcoming an agreement reached with the couple and says it was always open to those affected to seek further compensation.
But Liam Fitzgerald, who's a solicitor, believes accepting the bank's offer is not advisable:
