It's after the New York Times recommended an unusual recipe for guacamole, suggesting that their 17 million twitter followers add green peas to the dip.

The tweet said "Add green peas to your guacamole. Trust us"

But guacamole fans have reacted with outrage, saying it's possibly the worst food advice ever, 'you want to put what in my f'ing guacamole?', and even the US President tweeted he that respects the New York Times, but he's not buying peas for his guacamole.

Presidential hopeful Jeb Push also got into the row, saying you don't put peas in the avocado dip.
