The threat of travel chaos is mounting as workers at Irish Rail and Dublin Bus consider joining the strike at Bus Eireann.

The head of the NBRU says he wonÂ’t be able to stop his members at the two CIE companies from joining their colleagues, the longer their strike continues.

SIPTU is to ballot its members at Irish Rail and Dublin bus for strike action, after Bus Eireann alluded to the possibility of compulsory redundancies for its staff.
