A conference organised by rebels from the Fine Gael party is continuing in Dublin this afternoon.
Over 1,000 people have attended the Reform Conference in the RDS, which may be the stepping stone towards setting up a new party.
Reform Alliance TD Peter Mathews says Ireland urgently needs to have 53 billion euro of its debts written off.
