Regulating prostitution doesn't help women

Regulating the sex trade increases trafficking and enriches pimps - according to Ruhama.

The organisation that works with women in prostitution has taken issue with comments made by Minister John Halligan, who called for the legalisation of prostitution.

But Ruhama says other countries that have decriminalised prostitution have found that it's led to worse conditions for sex workers.

Ruhama, the frontline organisation that works with women in prostitution has questioned the stance taken by Junior Minister John Halligan.
