A group of residents on DublinÂ’'s north side are mobilising every day to try to stop water meters being installed in their neighbourhoods.
It comes as the Tanaiste confirms a 100 euro payment for lower earners towards water charges through Social Protection, and that she thinks families of four should only pay 200 euro.
There has been criticism of some anti-water charge demonstrators being a ‘rent a crowd’ for protests, or people on the dole with nothing better to do.
So who are they? And, why are they doing it?
