Rents in Dublin are rising faster than anywhere else in the country.

According to the latest Daft report, rents are up by 14 percent over the past year in parts of the capital. The average rent in Dublin is now 1,289 euros.

Elsewhere, rent prices increased in all city centres, with Cork & Galway experiencing a 6 per-cent rise. There was a 5 per-cent jump in Limerick city and a 1 per-cent hike in Waterford.
