The North's Ombudsman has found collusion between some police officers and loyalist gunmen who killed 6 Catholics in Co Down in 1994.
The 6 men were watching Ireland versus Italy in a pub in Loughinisland when gunmen burst into the bar and opened fire.
A Police Ombudsman report into the shooting has today found "catastrophic failings" in the investigation into their deaths.
Today the Norths POlice Ombudsman is categoric in his report into the shootings
He says he has no hesitation in saying collusion was a significant feature of the Loughinisland murders.
He finds police informers were involved in the attack and that opportunities to gather evidence were missed and
DR Michael Maguire says had they had been properly investigated the UVF gang responsible could have been brought to justice
The Ombudsman described failures in the overall investigation as "catastrophic" and said in too many instances the probe was characterised by "incompetence, indifference and neglect".
Emma Rogan's father Adrian was one of those murdered, she says she would like to see criminal charges brought against some of the police officers involved.
