The final report into a plane crash at Cork Airport - that killed six people - is expected to be published today.

The Manx 2 commuter flight from Belfast - overturned on the runway on February 10th 2011.

Six other people survived the accident - which happened as the aircraft was making its third landing attempt.

The Air Accident Investigation Unit's detailed and complex inquiry into the Manx 2 crash - has taken almost three years to complete.

The 18 seater turbo prop aircraft overturned and caught fire - after colliding with the runway at Cork Airport - on its third attempt to land in heavy fog.

There were ten passengers and two crew on board.

The Spanish pilot and English co-pilot - along with another man from England and three other men from the North - were killed in the impact.

The interim report found there was no pre-accident defects in the engines or propellers - but a faulty fuel control sensor in the right side engine was discovered.

The final report - setting out the causes of the crash and recommendations - has already been given to the survivors and the families of those who died.
