Barney - Revenue's resident cash dog - has been bestowed with the honour of a Golden Paw Hero Dog Award.
The award was given by the Irish Kennel Club in the Law Enforcement category.
The cash sniffer is based at Dublin Airport but has a national brief - regularly being involved in cash seizures around the country.
In one particular operation, Barney discovered 30,000 in cash and two silver bars valued at 10,000 concealed within a wardrobe.
