The Right2Water campaign says they won't stop until the excessive usage charge is abolished and that water metering is discontinued.

The group says yesterday's water committee report - which confirms the scrapping of domestic charges - as a 'substantial victory for people power', but says they have a long way to go.

Right2Water is holding its 9th national day of protest on Saturday.
