Last year saw a significant increase in the number of workdays lost to industrial disputes.
14 thousand 9 hundred and 65 days were lost in 2013, according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office.
They arose through 12 disputes that happened during the year.
That compares with 8 thousand 4 hundred and 86 days lost in 2012.
