Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Dublin.

A 35 year old man died - while a 32 year old man is in a serious condition in hospital - following the single vehicle incident on the Naas road.

Their car struck barriers along the road just before six o'clock this morning.

A forensic examination of the scene has been carried out and the road has now reopened.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Clondalkin Gardaí.
