194 people have died on the nations roads so far this year.
According to the Road Safety Authority, that's an increase of four on figures for 2013.
Last year saw the first year-on-year increase in the number of road deaths in Ireland for the first time since 2005 when 190 people lost their lives compared to 162 in 2012.
2014 saw an increase in the number of cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians who have lost their lives on the countries roads.
