Rory McIlroy has ended his relationship with his fiancée Caroline Wozniaki - saying the problem was all his.
The pair, who have been a couple for two years, were due to marry in New York this year.
In a statement this morning, the golfer said sending out the wedding invitations made him realise he wasn't ready for 'all that marriage entails.'
Despite saying he would not comment any further, the 25 year old spoke to reporters ahead of the BMW PGA Championship in Wentworth, in Surrey.

The pair are popular on Twitter, and had announced their engagement on New Year's Eve. Just four days ago, Rory tweeted about a meal he was having with Caroline in Monte Carlo.
