RTE has confirmed that it's to outsource all of its young peoples TV programmes.
It will see the likes of RTE junior and Swipe TV commissioned from independent production companies.
The national broadcaster cited the 'challenging financial environment' as the reason behind the move.
And some people are very unhappy:
