The High Court will rule today on the Moore Street preservation case.
Relatives of the signatories of the 1916 Proclamation are trying to have a number of buildings designated national monuments.
However the state disputes whether the buildings have any link to the rising.
Judge Max Barratt last month agreed to inspect the buildings in question.
He is due to issue his ruling in the case this afternoon
