Eight people have been injured by a knife attacker in the Russian city of Surgut.
The attacker has been shot dead by a police patrol, according to reports.
The victims are being treated by emergency services following the stabbing spree which took place around 11.20am local time.
None of the victims have died - however two are in a serious condition.
Authorities are now trying to identify the armed man and find out his motive for the attack.
There are claims he may have had mental health issues.
Surgut is the largest city and provincial capital of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. It is around 1,300 miles north of Moscow.
