Ryanair says it is cancelling 40 to 50 flights every day for the next six weeks.

The airline says it's because of a dip in its punctuality recently.

It has blamed the problem on a backlog of crew leave, along with Air Traffic Control issues.

The news has angered many passengers, with some complaining their holiday plans are 'up in smoke' just days before they're due to fly.

It's thought it will affect up to 9,000 people every day of the cancellations.
