Same-sex marriage moves one step closer to becoming a reality today.
The Marriage Bill is up for discussion at a meeting of the Oireachtas Justice Committee later.
It follows the successful passage of the marriage referendum last May.
It's hoped the bill will be passed before the end of the Government's term in office.
