The Malaysian government says a French satellite has picked up signs of debris - which may be linked to missing flight MH-370.

French officials say they've spotted the wreckage in the southern search corridor.

It comes just a day after a Chinese satellite image found a large object in the Indian Ocean.

Earlier, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott raised hopes that the mystery of missing Malaysia Airlines plane can be solved.
