A nationwide campaign has been launched in schools to try to stop the spread of Rotavirus and other gastro bugs.
A group of third and fourth class students from Christ the Kings Boys School in Dublin 7 have been shown the proper way to wash their hands by Dr Colm Moore from Rentokil Initial.
There have been more gastro-intestinal bugs in children during the first four months of this year, than in the whole of last year, and cases of Rotavirus have increased fourfold.
A team was using UV light to help them find bugs being spread in the classroom.
