Michael Schumacher has left the hospital in Grenoble where he's been receiving treatment for months after a skiing accident.
The former F1 star's manager says he's no longer in a coma.
His family has thanked doctors and medical staff in France.
He'll now continue what's been described as his 'long phase of rehabilitation' in private.
In a statement the family has thanked all his treating doctors, nurses and therapists in Grenoble as well as the first aiders at the place of the accident, who did an excellent job in those first months.
They have also thanked all the people who have sent good wishes to Michael and say they are sure it has helped him.
The family also says asked for the understanding that his further rehabilitation will take place away from the public eye.
