Scientists have claimed that sunshine acts like an addictive drug and has a similar effect on the body as heroin.
Ultraviolet rays from the sun stimulate the production of ''feel good'' hormones that act on the same biological pathway as opiates.
And the good news is - the warm sunny weather is set to continue until the middle of next week, with glorious sunny spells and temperatures in the mid-twenties.
