A search operation has resumed in West Cork for a man missing since yesterday evening.
He was among a group of three who went into the water in Baltimore shortly after 5.30.
It's reported a young woman was swept into the seaq by a freak wave, and the two men tried to rescue her.
The woman and one of the men were recovered from the sea but were later pronounced dead.
Search crews returned to the scene to look for the second man at half past five this morning.
Teams from Baltimore, Schull and Toe Head are all involved in the operation, and local divers are in the water, while navy divers will be on the scene through the morning.
