A search for a swimmer missing off the Donegal coast has resumed.

The man got into trouble while swimming with four friends at Tullan Strand in Bundoran yesterday evening. 

The other four managed to make it back to safety and the alarm was raised.  

The Malin Head Coastguard is co-coordinating the search which resumed at 7am. 

The Coastguard supported by the Sligo 118 Rescue Helicopter and the Bundoran Lifeboat are involved.
