The search resumes off Baltimore in west Cork this morning for missing man Barry Davis Ryan.
The 21 year old disappeared while trying to save his girlfriend Niamh O'Connor from Glanmire, who was swept out to sea on Tuesday evening.
She was later recovered from the water along with Barry Ryan senior, the missing man's father, but they had both drowned.
Divers, lifeboats and local craft will be involved in this morning's search, along with shore crews.
Local councillor Joe Carroll is a friend of the Ryan family.
