Security forces in France are facing questions after a priest in Normandy was murdered by a teenage terror suspect wearing an electronic tag.

Adel Kermiche and another man were shot dead after killing Father Hamel at his church yesterday.

The 19-year-old had tried to travel to Syria twice.

Some of his classmates say he spoke about this, but others who knew him had no reason to be suspicious.
