Security tight in European capitals for New Year's Eve

Security has being stepped up across Europe for New Year celebrations following this year's terror attacks.

In London, armed police will be on tube trains for the first time and concrete bollards are being put up to keep traffic away from crowds.

Three thousand police are on duty - with further armed officers patrolling the Tube network.
