Seven people have been detained in Belgium in connection with the Paris attacks.

It follows the arrest earlier of six family members of a man named as one of the attackers in Paris.

Meanwhile, Parisians are paying tribute to the victims of Friday's attacks at sites across the French capital.

It comes ahead of a commemorative Mass at the Notre Dame Cathedral this evening.

Here at home the Irish flag is flying at half mast at Government Building and over Leinster House in Dublin.

Outside the French Embassy on nearby Merrion Square; candles have been lit and flowers and messages of sympathy have been left for the victims of the Paris attacks.
