Gardaí have arrested a number of people after cannabis herb worth more than 90-thousand euro was seized in the Kildare area.

Eleven private residences were searched between 7am last Friday and 4am this morning.

Files will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the arrests.
