Male survivors of Child Sex Abuse are three times more likely to be out of the labour force due to sickness or disability.
New research by the ESRI and Trinity College examined the long term economic impact of child sex abuse and found there's an effect on the finances of survivors over 30 years after the abuse happened.
8 and a half thousand people were questioned between 2009 and 2011 for the study, which is one of the first of its kind.
