A leading professor in the field of how best to treat sexual abusers says communities have a right to know if a sex offender is living in their area.
More than 300 professionals are attending a major conference in Dublin today organised by NOTA - the National Organisation for the Treatment for Abusers.
The conference is looking specifically at the management of adolescents that sexually offend and how best to rehabilitate them.
