A group representing sex workers in Ireland has hit out at the government's move to criminalise the purchase of sex.
It's been confirmed the new bill will be published on Thursday - in a bid to tackle sex trafficking in Ireland.
The legislation will make it illegal to pay for sexual services - which is not the case under the current law, which only bans the soliciting of sexual services, as well as keeping a brothel and pimping.
But Sex Workers Alliance Ireland says the legislation will only endanger those who work in the industry.
