Sinn Fein says it's confident that a new Garda assessment of the Provisional IRA, will confirm that that group no longer exists.

Frances Fitzgerald has asked the Garda Commissioner to work with the PSNI to examine the status of the IRA, in light of the investigation into the murder of Kevin McGuigan.

The PSNI today arrested a 47 year old man in connection with the murder - the eleventh person to be questioned.
