Gardaí are investigating after shots were fired at a young couple who were out walking in the Kilbarrack area of north Dublin last night.

Three shots were discharged at about 10.30pm on St. Berachs Place at the junction of Swan's Nest Avenue.

No one was injured in the incident, however a nearby home which was occupied at the time, was damaged.

Gardaí in Raheny are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 10.15pm and 10.45pm last night to come forward.
