A court in the US is to decide whether chimpanzees - and other animals with high intelligence - should be given certain rights.
The case has been brought by a welfare group, which is arguing that "Tommy" the chimp should not be kept in a cage by his owner in New York state.
Previous lawsuits have been thrown out, but the "Nonhuman Rights Project" argues the chimp's been unlawfully imprisoned.
