It's claimed the homelessness crisis in Dublin has spiraled out of control.
The Dublin Simon Community is responding to figures released this evening which confirm 168 people sleeping rough in the capital on the 11th November.
It's the highest figure since the official count began in 2007 and is in addition to over 1,500 individuals in emergency accommodation that night.
The Minister for the Environment Alan Kelly has committed to an extra 20 percent funding nationally for homeless accommodation and related services next year.
