Minister for Health Simon Harris says he hopes John Halligan will remain part of the government.

The Minister was responding to Mr Halligan's threat to quit over a report - which found there was no need for a second cath lab at University Hospital Waterford.

However Minister Harris says the matter is now closed and that he has no intention of overturning the findings of the clinical review.

Although Mr Harris says he will provide significant investment for the hospital:
