Medical researchers say a simple and cheap technique could significantly increase the chances of women giving birth.
The study by the Cochrane research organisation has found that the process known as the "Endometrial Scratch" could double fertility rates.
It involves scraping or scratching the lining of the womb before IVF treatment
However, some medics are urging caution, saying the research group of 1,000 women is too small to be definitive.
