Sinn Fein says it's disappointed with the report due to be released by the Low Pay Commission this week.
It's thought that the task force will recommend an increase of 50 cent to the current minimum wage of 8.65.
Sinn Fein says that this increase isn't enough, and will only amount to 19 euro 50 extra to a 39 hour week for an employee on minimum wage.
The report from the Low Pay Commission is due to be released on Tuesday.
