The government says it's looking at ways to make it easier for households to pay their water bills.
Enda Kenny says he wants more ways for homes to pay bills, including making it possible to pay bills in regular instalments.
He was responding to criticism from former junior minister Fergus O'Dowd, and Sinn Féin's calls to abolish charges altogether - which the TAoiseach described as "fantasy economics".
