Strike action is looming at Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann.

SIPTU have decided to ballot their members for industrial action next week over Government plans to sell off one in ten routes.

The NBRU have already started a ballot of their members at both companies and Irish Rail over the matter.

They're also considering a High Court challenge to the privatisation plan.
