Sleet & snow is expected to fall over some parts of the country this weekend.
Met Eireann says the west and north-west of the country are expected to see most of the wintry showers.
The forecaster says Saturday night will be cold with some rain or sleet showers. There will also be widespread frost with temperatures dropping to lows of -3 degrees.
There will be a frosty start to Sunday with icy patches which could lead to another day of widespread showers that may turn wintry at times.
Temperatures will also drop to between -3 and 0 degrees.
In addition, Met Eireann says we can expect some strong winds.
