There are unconfirmed reports that smoke was detected on missing EgyptAir flight, just minutes before contact was lost with the plane.

66 people were on-board when it disappeared over the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday.

Human remains, seats and luggage have since been discovered in the waterway.
