Team Ireland is on its way to the the Special Olympics World Summer Games in L.A.

The 88 competitors, along with a 40-strong coaching team, are competing in 13 different sports, from athletics to equestrian.

The Irish competitors are among 7,000 athletes from 177 countries, who'll attend Saturday's opening ceremony.

The star-studded event will feature First Lady Michelle Obama, Ireland's Colin Farrell and olympic legend Michael Phelps.
