A middle aged man has been arrested for wearing speedo's in a public place.

A number of people complained to police when the man was spotted sunbathing on a deckchair on the street in the middle of the busy Brick Lane Market in London.

The man asked officers if it was 'illegal to sunbathe', as he was led away in handcuffs.

Some people thought it was a slightly odd street performance, but others obviously complained to police who then removed the offending speedo's.
