At least ten people have been killed in France, Romania and Germany as storms continue to sweep through Europe.

A state of natural disaster has been declared in France by President Francois Hollande as more rain is forecast for the weekend.

Levels on the River Seine are the highest they've been in more than 30 years. 

Residents living in the vicinity have been evacuated.

The Louvre museum is shut with precious artworks being moved out of basements. 

Some Metro lines have also been affected.

Susan Keogh has been speaking to journalist Catherine Field - who is based in Paris - about what it's like there at the minute:
